Abortion drug ruling expected soon
The federal judge could rule as early as today on a widely used abortion drug. The lawsuit was filed in November challenging FDA approval of Mopha Pristone, which is the first drug in medication abortion processes. Non-surgical medication abortions make up more than 50 percent of abortions in the U.S. The federal judge, presiding over the case in Texas, was appointed by former President Trump and has blocked several Biden administration policies.
